Tottenham likely to make £35m offer for centre-back in January
Tottenham Hotspur are expected to press ahead with an offer for a centre-back who has been impressing in the Serie A and the Champions League this season.

A lot of Tottenham’s injuries have been concentrated in the heart of their defence, thus posing a real problem for Ange Postecoglou.
Currently, Cristian Romero, Ben Davies and Micky van de Ven are all on the treatment table, thus forcing the Australian to play 18-year-old Archie Gray in the role over recent weeks.
That is a position that Spurs will be keen to reinforce in January and some reports over recent months have now indicated that the Lilywhites are keeping an eye on Inter Milan’s Yann Bisseck.
Tottenham expected to bid for Yann Bisseck
A fresh report from CaughtOffside has backed up Spurs’ interest in Bisseck, revealing that the Lilywhites and their London rivals, West Ham, are both circling over the German.
The report explains that while the Nerazzurri have not decided on whether to cash in on the 23-year-old, they would be tempted to do so if a decent offer comes their way.
The outlet adds that both Spurs and the Hammers are expected to push ahead with a £35m for the former FC Koln man.
Bisseck’s CL performances would have caught Spurs’ eye
Bisseck has not been a regular starter for Inter this season, but he has delivered a few eye-catching performances.
The most notable of those was in the Serie A club’s 1-0 win over Arsenal in the Champions League earlier this season, with the defender starting on the left side of a back three in that game and managing to keep Bakayo Saka quiet.
The centre-back’s display against the Gunners was described by some as a ‘masterclass‘ and it is the sort of performance that would convince Premier League clubs that he is capable of delivering against the best players in the world.
