That being said, Pereira’s ideology involves setting up structurally organised defences with counter-attacking structures designed for each specific opponent.

If opponents exert all of their energy in stopping Spurs from playing, it often proves to be the sort of games in which Tottenham struggle most.

Exacerbated by a lack of available rotation and fitness, Spurs could be facing a similar problem to previous games against Wolves.
