Randal Kolo Muani to Tottenham links – Fabrizio Romano reveals what he knows
Tottenham Hotspur are looking to increase their depth in attack and have been linked with the talented Randal Kolo Muani, who could cost them above £70m this month.
Tottenham need a new striker to help Solanke
Despite spending £65m on Dominic Solanke last summer, Tottenham are looking to sign a new centre-forward. With Richarlison rarely free from injury, they have been left with a lack of depth up front.
Will Lankshear is one option for Spurs, but he has only started two matches this season and was sent off against Galatasaray in the Europa League, overshadowing his first goal for the club. With this limited match time, it is clear Ange Postecoglou does not yet believe the 19-year-old is ready for regular first-team football.
Also, while Solanke has largely been praised for his performances for Spurs, questions are continually being asked of his finishing, as he only has seven Premier League goals and has missed a number of key chances.

Whether Spurs are looking for a backup striker, or someone who is going to challenge Solanke, the bottom line is they need a new forward and according to Fabrizio Romano, they are linked with a PSG striker.
The journalist has revealed that Tottenham have asked for information on Randal Kolo Muani, who joined the Ligue 1 champions only a year and a half ago, but is attracting interest from a number of clubs.
Writing in his GiveMeSport newsletter, Romano said: “It’s a possibility [Muani joining Tottenham] but there are several clubs. Tottenham have asked for information, but also Juventus in Italy for example. It’s an open race, as PSG keep waiting for the best conditions possible.”
How has Randal Kolo Muani performed for PSG?
While Muani plays primarily as a striker, he is able to operate on either wing, making him a useful addition to any squad.
Although his goal contribution stats since joining PSG are not all that impressive. He only managed six goals and five assists in the league last season and has just two goals and an assist in the current campaign. Muani has, however, only made ten league appearances this season and many of these have been from off the bench.
Having joined PSG for £76m, Muani will not be a cheap buy for Spurs and if Ange Postecoglou is serious about bringing him to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the club will need to act quickly to beat the competition to his signature.
