Tottenham hopeful of concluding Randal Kolo Muani deal

It has been reported by a number of outlets that Tottenham were making progress in their efforts to bring Kolo Muani to the club.

The Lilywhites were allegedly on the verge of agreeing personal terms with Muani, with the Premier League side hopeful of finalising the deal in a matter of days.

It was also revealed that Ange Postecoglou’s men have assured Muani regular game time at N17 in order to persuade him to green-light the move.

Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, Juventus seemed to have stormed to the front of the race for Muani‘s signature, even getting a ‘yes’ from the man himself.

Tottenham and PSG are now discussing the structure of the deal

GiveMeSport have backed up the claim that Spurs are hoping to reach a full agreement over Kolo Muani in the next few days.

The outlet reveals that Tottenham and PSG were locked in talks on Thursday, with the two parties discussing the structure of the agreement.

The Ligue 1 side want a loan with an obligation to buy in the summer, but Tottenham prefer an option to buy as they want to leave some ‘room for flexibility’ based on the striker’s performance.

Despite Spurs’ hesitation to agree to an obligation to buy for the France international, it is explained that they are very serious about the prospect of keeping the forward at the club beyond this season.

Tottenham’s promise could sway Kolo Muani

GiveMeSport say that Spurs are wary of competition from Man Utd and Juventus, who are both keen on the PSG star. Juventus have since made more progress in their own deal but Tottenham refuse to give up on Muani.

However, neither Juve nor the Red Devils are even prepared to entertain an obligation to buy at the end of the season, thus potentially giving Tottenham an advantage.

Further, the publication explains that Kolo Muani has been assured ‘a well-defined role’ in Ange Postecoglou‘s system, which could help sway his decision in favour of a move to N17.
