In every transfer window, Spurs fans are always put through at least one extremely complicated transfer saga that seems to go one way and then another.

This month, it is the Kolo Muani one that has grabbed the headlines, with contradictory reports emerging over recent days about Tottenham’s pursuit of the striker.

Some Italian outlets are confident that Juventus are the front-runners to sign the 26-year-old, but other publications have continued to insist that Spurs are still very much in the race, which remains wide open.

Interestingly, GiveMeSport have now explained that the only thing that is holding up the deal is Tottenham’s unwillingness to attach an obligation to buy to the loan deal for Kolo Muani.

The report reveals that Spurs acted quickly and tried to wrap up a deal for the Frenchman, hoping that he would pick them ahead of Juve and Man Utd.

Kolo Muani is happy to consider a move to Tottenham, but the forward reportedly wants to hear all proposals before making a decision.

While PSG are happy to do business with anyone, it is explained that they are insisting on an obligation of around £50m, but the loan offers they have received so far only include an option to buy.

Spurs considering making a new proposal

It is revealed that Juventus are one of the clubs to have tabled a loan offer with an option and they are ‘growing in confidence’ that the PSG man will pick them over a switch to the Premier League.

The outlet asserts that if Spurs were willing to add an obligation to buy to their offer, they would move into pole position to land Kolo Mauni.

The publication adds that Ange Postecoglou‘s men are now ‘toying with the idea’ of submitting a new offer that includes incentives that might make it more tempting for PSG.
