Predicted Tottenham XI to face Everton

Goalkeeper – Antonin Kinsky: Kinsky was handed his first start in the Premier League against Arsenal in midweek and while his debut did not go as planned, there were definitely positives to take from his performance, particularly his handling of set-pieces which will be handy against Everton, so he retains his place as the starting goalkeeper.

Right-back – Pedro Porro: Despite a few good games against Newcastle and Liverpool, Porro’s performance against Arsenal left much to be desired. Spurs do not have anyone to rotate the full-back with, so he will continue as the right-back.

Centre-back – Radu Dragusin: Ange Postecoglou in his pre-match press conference has hinted that Davies is fit enough to feature in this game, which is positive news. However, a return to action might be too soon, so Dragusin should continue as the centre-back.

Centre-back – Archie Gray: What can we say, Gray is one of the very few players that can actually put his head up after that Arsenal game, as he continues to impress with his tidy displays. However, his stint as a centre-back is nearing its end as both Romero and van de Ven are not far from a return.

Left-back – Djed Spence: Djed was really impressive on that left flank for Spurs against Arsenal – we really do see him keeping his spot on Sunday.

Pivot midfielder – Lucas Bergvall: Ange recently revealed that Yves Bissouma is carrying a bit of a knock which means he is a doubt for Sunday. Hence, Bergvall should slot in that pivot-midfield role.

Central midfielder – James Maddison: Minutes have been hard to come by for Maddison in recent games as Ange has favoured players with a lot more running in them. Sunday could see the Englishman return back into the eleven as Johnson remains a doubt.

Central midfielder – Pape Matar Sarr: Sarr was absolutely poor in the derby game. With the team being stretched in the midfield area with Bentancur still nursing a head injury, the Senegalese will be hoping for a much better performance at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Right midfielder – Dejan Kulusevski: Following Johnson’s knock, Kulusevski should be shifted to the wing where he started the game against Arsenal.

Striker – Dominic Solanke: With Richarlison now returning, Solanke is no longer as nailed on as he used to be. In fact, him being benched in this game is a high possibility. Despite that, we do expect him to start, with Richarlison possibly getting a 30-45 minute cameo later on.

Left midfielder – Heung-min Son: Werner is out for 3-4 weeks, which leaves Mikey Moore and Richarlison as the other options on the left for Sunday – Son should be alright given his impressive record against Everton.
