James Maddison injury update revealed as Spurs assess the damage
Latest reports reveal that Spurs are said to be awaiting news on James Maddison’s injury situation, after the midfielder missed the Premier League clash against Leicester City.
James Maddison’s absence against Leicester City
James Maddison’s absence against Leicester City was felt as the Lilywhites suffered a painful 2-1 loss to relegation-threatened Leicester City.
His absence saw him join the likes of Solanke, Romero, Brennan Johnson, van de Ven, Udogie, Werner and Vicario on the injury front.
When asked about his fitness before the game against newly promoted Leicester City, Ange Postecoglou had this to say: “He [Maddison] is still a bit sore from the other night. It took a fair bit out of him and he was not 100 per cent, so he misses out.”(football.london)
This setback came right after the midfielder scored and stood out with a good performance when he played 89 minutes to help Spurs beat Hoffenheim 3-2 in the Europa League on Thursday.
