Mathys Tel sends big transfer hint as Spurs rush to wrap up late deal
Mathys Tel has sent a big hint that he might not be at the Allianz Arena by Monday as Spurs and other Premier League clubs look to wrap up a late deal for the winger.

Tel has reportedly made it clear to the Bayern Munich hierarchy that he wants to leave the club before the window slams shut on February 3, with several Premier League clubs thought to be circling over the 19-year-old.
The latest to make this claim was Fabrizio Romano, who explained on his YouTube channel that the teenager is open to a loan move or a permanent transfer in search of regular game time.
The Italian transfer expert revealed that Spurs are one of four Premier League clubs circling over the Bayern man and added that Tottenham are prepared to ‘go big’ to sign Tel within the next few days.

Tottenham will certainly not find it easy to win the race for the youngster, but the North London club reportedly hold one advantage.
According to an update by The Telegraph, Spurs have a good relationship with Bayern after agreeing the sales of Harry Kane and Eric Dier in the recent past, which they could use to their advantage to seal the deal for Tel.
The pacy winger started Bayern’s 3-1 Champions League win over Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday and played 61 minutes before being replaced by Kingsley Coman.
After the game, the Frenchman was asked if this was his last game for Bayern, and according to journalist Kerry Hau, the youngster shrugged his shoulders and responded: “I don’t know.”
Tel also appeared to say goodbye to the Bayern faithful, just in case he is not still at the club when they next take to the pitch.
Bayern might prefer to loan out Tel
Tel has now had much game time this season, but the fact that he was named in the starting lineup in Wednesday’s Champions League game is interesting.
That might have been a move by Vincent Kompany to show the youngster that he is in his plans and is valued at the Allianz Arena.
If that is the case, the Bundesliga giants may prefer to loan out the winger rather than sell him permanently, which also explains Tel’s “I don’t know” answer.
