Tottenham will be sick at the sight of Randal Kolo Muani goal record
Tottenham Hotspur reportedly put plenty of effort into signing Randal Kolo Muani last month but were unable to get the deal over the line. Now, the Lilywhites will be even more annoyed after seeing the Juventus player make a rollicking start to life in Italy.
Forward snubbed Spurs in favour of Serie A giants
It was Juventus who ended up winning the race for Randal Kolo Muani in the January window, with the forward making a straight loan move from Paris Saint-Germain to Turin.
However, for the longest time, Tottenham were in talks with the 26-year-old. Reports indicated that Spurs tried until the very last moment to convince Muani to come to N17, but they were ultimately unable to stop him from joining the Bianconeri.
In the end, Spurs fans will not be too displeased at the transfer falling through as the Lilywhites were able to strike a late deal to sign Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich instead.
Randal Kolo Munai has taken the Serie A by storm
However, Tottenham may now be wondering ‘what if’ regarding Kolo Muani after seeing the kind of performances he has been delivering at the Allianz Stadium.
The France international has already found the back of the net five times in his first three Serie A games for Thiago Motta’s men, including a brace in their 2-1 win over Como on Friday.

Tottenham may try again for Kolo Muani in the summer
Juventus do not have an option to buy Kolo Muani, which means that Tottenham could try again to secure the versatile forward in the summer.
We already know that Spurs are fans of the Frenchman and that the North London side have a good relationship with PSG, but their biggest challenge might be convincing the player himself.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt man is likely to have plenty of offers in the summer if he has a strong loan spell in Italy.
