Jamie Donley continues to go from strength to strength on loan at Leyton Orient, with the attacking midfielder garnering praise from Pep Guardiola after Man City’s FA Cup win over the League One side.
However, things have not gone according to plan for Alejo Veliz at Espanyol, with the Argentine struggling to get game time at the Catalan club at the moment.
The 21-year-old also had a spell to forget at Valencia in the second half of last season, but that does not mean he does not have a route into the Tottenham first-team next season according to a new report.
Ange Postecoglou’s plans for Tottenham trio revealed
GiveMeSport claimed that Donley will be part of Tottenham’s pre-season tour and will be handed a chance by Postecoglou to prove that he is ready to play a part at N17.
The report says that the 20-year-old is held in ‘high regard’ at Spurs and will be given a chance to show how much he has progressed during his stint in League One.
Despite his struggles at Espanyol, Veliz will also be assessed by Ange Postecoglou to see if he has improved over the course of his time in Spain.
The report adds that Yang Min-hyeok, who joined QPR on loan in January, will also be closely monitored in the summer before deciding the next best step for him.
Manor Soloman is likely to leave Tottenham this summer
However, the outlet states that the same opportunity might not be handed to Manor Solomon, who is currently on loan at Leeds United.
The 24-year-old is impressing at the Championship club, with six goals and seven assists to his name across all competitions, but it is suggested that he might not have a future at Spurs.
The publication states that the Israel international will ‘likely be allowed to move on permanently’ if the opportunity arises in the summer.
