Predicted Tottenham XI to face Man United in the Premier League

Goalkeeper – Antonin Kinsky: It has been a rocky start for Antonin Kinsky since he joined the N17 club, while a clean sheet on his debut was a positive, his mistake against Villa reminded us that perhaps he is still a long way from being the club’s first choice. However, with Vicario still sidelined, he is expected to continue in goal this weekend.

Right-back – Pedro Porro: Pedro Porro was handed a much-needed rest against Liverpool last Thursday but was quickly restored to the XI against Aston Villa on Sunday. With a week’s break before the United game, we expect him to be on the teamsheet.

Centre-back – Ben Davies: Ben Davies missed out on Sunday against Aston Villa, with Gray in need of a rest and van de Ven and Romero still sidelined, Davies could be back in the XI on Sunday.

Centre-back – Kevin Danso: Since joining Spurs, Danso has looked solid, and with the ongoing injury crisis, he seems to be one of the first names on the teamsheet. The new signing is set to make it three starts in three games.

Left-back – Destiny Udogie: It was revealed earlier this week that Udogie has returned from his six-week spell on the sideline and is now in contention for this weekend’s clash. The possibility of him starting here is high, however, there is a chance Spence starts given his impressive form.

Pivot midfielder – Lucas Bergvall: It is a toss-up between Bissouma and Bergvall for the pivot role, but Bergvall edges Bissouma in this one – the Malian’s inconsistencies have cost the Lilywhites throughout this season.

Central midfielder – Rodrigo Bentancur: The recent footage that showed Bentancur’s lack of effort during Aston Villa’s second goal has got fans frustrated, regardless, there is a high chance the Uruguyan features ahead of Sarr.

Central midfielder – James Maddison: Spurs midfield has been crying out for a creative outlet in the absence of Maddison. With reports stating that the Englishman could return this weekend now swirling, there is a chance of him getting a start against Manchester United.

Left midfielder – Heung-min Son: There has been a lot of talk about the on-pitch leadership at Spurs and much criticism has been fired at the Spurs captain, the game on Sunday, is the perfect opportunity for the wide forward to silence his critics. He will be dying to add to his 18 goals and assists this season (TransferMarkt).

Striker – Mathys Tel: With Richarlison and Dominic Solanke still out, Tel is set to be the main striker for the Lilywhites – he will be hoping to build on his goal against Villa last Sunday.

Right midfielder – Dejan Kulusevski: With Maddison set to return to the XI, there will be no room for Kulusevski down in midfield. In the game against Aston Villa, it was his cross from the right that set up Tel’s goal. His quality in midfield and on the wings is undeniable.
