Jamie O’Hara believes that Tottenham Hotspur should embark on a major squad rebuild in the summer, with the pundit urging the club to sell seven first-team players.
We are still more than three months away from the summer transfer window, but speculation has already begun on the potential incomings and outgoings at Hotspur Way at the end of the season.
It remains to be seen if the club will continue to make gradual changes to the squad or if they undertake a complete revamp.
Jamie O’Hara is convinced that it should be the latter, with the former Spurs midfielder asking the Lilywhites to cash in on several big names when the transfer window reopens.
Jamie O’Hara wants Odobert, Son, and Bentancur gone
Jamie O’Hara was speaking to ESPN FC, who went through each member of the Spurs squad and asked the pundit to pick whether the club should keep or sell each player.
The 38-year-old has urged the club to cash in on captain Heung-min Son, as well as Pape Sarr, Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur, Radu Dragusin, Richarlison, and Wilson Odobert this summer.
O’Hara even called on Tottenham to get rid of Ben Davies and Fraser Forster, whose contracts run out in June, while he also does not want Postecoglou’s men to take up the option to sign Mathys Tel permanently from Bayern.

Tottenham not listening to O’Hara’s advice on midfielder
Perhaps the most controversial of O’Hara’s picks on who Spurs should sell are Rodrigo Bentancur, Pape Sarr and Wilson Odobert.
It appears clear that at least one of those three will be staying at the club as reports indicate that Tottenham are ready to offer a new contract to Bentancur.
Ange Postecoglou has also made it clear that Bentancur is a part of his long-term plans, although the Australian refused to comment on the midfielder’s contract situation.
