Who is Roony Bardghji? Tottenham want to sign the next Lucas Bergvall
Tottenham Hotspur are ready to battle Manchester City and Newcastle United for the highly-rated Swedish talent, Roony Bardghji. With Spurs having a strong relationship with the agency representing the teenager, they may have the upper hand in the race to sign him. But who exactly is Bardghji? Let’s meet the 19-year-old winger.
We have reported in recent weeks that Tottenham have had their eyes on Roony Bardghji for some time now, identifying him as a player with immense potential.
The 19-year-old winger has drawn interest from City and Newcastle, but Tottenham’s solid ties with his representatives could work in their favour.
With Bardghji set to enter the final year of his contract this June, Copenhagen may be forced to cash in rather than risk losing him for free.
Reports suggest that Spurs could secure his signature for well under £10m, making him an enticing prospect for the North London side. But what kind of player is he? Let’s meet Roony Bardghji.

Why Tottenham should move for Roony Bardghji
Tottenham Hotspur targeting Bardghji makes perfect sense. I mean he is 19 and he fits into the club’s current transfer strategy, which places focus on securing top youngsters across the globe.
We’ve already seen how well Lucas Bergvall has settled in, and adding another young Scandinavian talent to the squad could be a smart move.
He has the technical ability, the European experience, and the kind of flair that could make him a standout in Ange Postecoglou’s system.
The main concern is his injury. A cruciate ligament tear is no small issue, and it raises questions about how long it will take him to regain full fitness. However, if Spurs can land him for a cut-price fee, it might be a gamble worth taking.
