Supercomputer predicts Tottenham’s Premier League finish after fixture list drops

Tottenham’s disastrous 2024/25 campaign set new Premier League lows, and now a supercomputer has delivered its verdict on what next season might hold for the north London club – and it does not look any better.

The 2024/25 Premier League season was Tottenham’s worst ever domestic campaign in England’s top flight, as Ange Postecoglou’s men broke all the wrong records.

Tottenham lost 22 matches in the English top flight last season, which is the most in their entire history, and also the most by any manager who has taken charge of the Lilywhites, with Ossie Ardiles previously holding that unwanted record with 19 defeats in 42 league games.

The club also recorded their lowest ever Premier League finish, as Postecoglou guided Tottenham to a 17th-place spot. Their previous worst had been 15th.

Tottenham now know their Premier League fixture list for the 2025/26 season, but a supercomputer has made a worrying prediction ahead of the new campaign.

Tottenham also ended the season with just 38 points – their lowest ever total in Premier League history. The previous record had been 44 points.

Of course, if any manager were to surpass these unwanted records, then Tottenham would be staring relegation in the face.

Regardless, a supercomputer has now run its projections and forecasted how Spurs would fare in the 2025/26 Premier League season.

It is not good news, as the AI model expects Tottenham to finish just two places higher than they managed last term, predicting a 15th-place finish.

Spurs are also forecasted to pick up only 43 points and to lose a staggering 17 games in the league next season.

How the rest of the Premier League shapes up

If these forecasts are anything to go by, then there is every chance that new head coach Thomas Frank would be shown the exit door after just one season at the helm.

As for the rest of the league, Tottenham’s bitter rivals Arsenal are expected to go another season without a Premier League trophy, with the supercomputer predicting the Gunners to finish in third place.

Liverpool are tipped to be crowned champions once again – for the second season in a row – while Manchester City are projected to come second, missing out on top spot by just three points.
