CONOR McGregor joined in the St Patrick’s Day celebrations as global parades turned cities green across the world.
The Irish MMA fighter was in high spirits as he walked through the streets of Chicago with Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
McGregor, 30, appeared to flaunt his fighting spirit, pumping his fists in the air and wearing a green sash with his name on it.
He made sure to flaunt his style in tribute of the Irish festival, sash donned a pair of green loafers to complement his smart outfit.
Walking alongside McGregor was Irish premier Leo Varadkar, who was in the Windy City for the fourth day of his annual St Patrick’s Day tour to the US.
This is the 10th year Tourism Ireland’s ‘Global Greenings’ initiative has turned 430 sites around the world green.
From Dubai’s Burj al Arab to Niagara Falls, the London Eye to Rio’s Christ the Redeemer statue, Earth’s best-known attractions have been lit up in glorious emerald for St Patrick.
Chicago celebrated the event turning its iconic river green.
In Ireland, the day of celebration has been a public holiday since 1903 and the first parade was held in Waterford that year.
For the feast of the Irish saint, parades in Northern Ireland are being held in a number of towns and cities, including Belfast, and Downpatrick.

But parades in New York are expected to be the largest again this year, with almost two million revellers set to enjoy festivities.
In England, Royal Kate Middleton paid tribute to the event, wearing a dark green Alexander McQueen coat and hat from Lock and Co, at a London parade.
At Calvary Baracks in West London Irish Guards and their families marched on the Parade Square.
The mascot, wearing a red coat, was presented with his first shamrock in 2013 and today led the regimental band and parade.
