WOJCIECH SZCZESNY branded Robin van Persie arrogant in a damning interview in which he criticised the Dutchman’s move from Arsenal to Man United.
The Polish stopper played with Van Persie at the Gunners between 2009 and 2012 but did not hold back when asked for his thoughts on his ex-teammate.
The Dutch forward left Arsenal for Man United for £24million in August 2012 in the hunt for trophies he did not believe he could win in North London.
Van Persie, 35, scored 30 goals in his first season at Old Trafford and bagged a Premier League winners medal in the process.
But, Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement at the end of the season saw the striker’s form dip under David Moyes and he was shipped out to Fenerbahce in 2015.
Szczesny, 28, plays for Italian champions Juventus and despite his time with Van Persie at Arsenal did not mince his words when asked what he thought.
