A PLASTIC surgeon has revealed the biggest surgery trend of 2019 – and women are flaunting it all over social media.
Harley Street’s Dr Dirk Kremer said there’s been a boom in women asking for a look he has coined the “rich girl face”.
Dr Kremner said this involves enhancing the face with derma fillers, chemical peels and Botox injections and is particularly popular with those aged 20 to 29.
Inspired by reality shows like Made in Chelsea and the Real Housewives, the look is not designed to be discreet and women want to flaunt their exaggerated faces on Instagram.
Dr Kremner told Glamour: “The puffed and plumped ‘rich face’ aesthetic is practically the new Louis Vuitton handbag in certain circles – an instant, recognisable marker of wealth and status.
“Unlike generations before them, this new class of cosmetic injectee doesn’t hide its enhancements in shame. Rather, its plumped-up lips and puffer-fish cheeks are often a source of pride.”

As the name suggests, the “rich girl face” doesn’t come cheap.
Dr Kremner advised that lip and cheek fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm cost £200 per syringe, and have to topped up over six to 12 months.
Meanwhile, anti-wrinkle injections cost upwards of £180.
Cosmetic specialist and TV doc, Dr Tijion Esho has also revealed the new treatments he thinks will be the biggest hits in 2019.
He said a new type of Botox can make the effects last much longer.
“Still the number one requested treatment,” according to Dr Esho.
“In 2019 the Botox market is going to be ‘blown apart’ thanks to a new E-type 2 toxin.
“You’ll need less of it and the results last longer which is good for practitioners as it means you save more in terms of dosage and good for patients as the longevity means less treatments.”
Dr Esho also said a new, gentler type of facial peel will be available that doesn’t require any downtime as it doesn’t strip your face so much.

Dr Esho said: “Peels have traditionally been aggressive on the skin but smarter peels are coming that create the same result with zero downtime.
“Treating everything from acne, redness and hyperpigmentation, they gently alter the pH of the skin that triggers a gentle but effective peel.
“You will still need a course of them and they don’t come cheap, but you will be able to walk straight back into work with no visible signs of shedding.”
