JESY Nelson is comforting her boyfriend Chris Hughes following the shock death of his former Love Island co-star Mike Thalassitis yesterday.
The 27-year-old Little Mix star revealed that she is spending the day with the 26-year-old hunk, sharing two loved-up selfies to her Instagram page.
In the snap, the pair are dressed casually for a lazy Sunday, with Chris in a white Adidas jumper and Jesy wearing a black logo T-shirt.
The singer simply captioned the photo: “Sunday’s with this one” alongside a heart emoji.
Meanwhile, Chris took to his Instagram Story to share a video of himself and Jesy caught in hail stones as they made their way home from the shop.
With her coat over her head, Jesy can be heard squealing that she is only wearing flip-flops.
He then shared a clip of their Sunday evening feast, which included curly fries and pizza.
Chris was left saddened last night when news of Mike’s death broke, and he was among the first to share his condolences on social media.
He wrote: “His name was Mike Thalassitis, and every inch of my heart goes out to his family & friends. A good guy, taken far, far to soon.”
Chris appeared on the same series of Love Island as Mike and was even the one to give him his iconic nickname “Muggy Mike” after he tried to steal Olivia Attwood from him.
Olivia also paid her respects to Mike last night, posting a photo of herself with him to her Instagram Story and writing: “Literally don’t know what to say. Another one gone too young.
“Thinking of Mike’s family and friends at this horrendous time. You will be missed terribly.”
The reality TV favourite was found dead in a park near his home in Edmonton, North London, on Saturday.
