In a tweet of the incident, the unidentified man was filmed walking across the tarmac with no clothes on.
Witnesses said that the man was attempting to board a flight departing from Chicago.
The tweet, which was shared by ORD Airport Insider, also reported that the passenger was allegedly detained at Gate C10 after walking from E12 at Chicago O’Hare’s Terminal 1.
According to the tweet, the naked individual had been attempting to board a Delta flight – although this hasn’t been confirmed.

In the photo, the man appeared to have been given a safety vest to wear around his waist to cover himself up.
A tweet said: “Multiple witnesses say he walked off a Delta flight at Terminal 2, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
“He was quickly apprehended by airport authorities. ”
It is unclear how the man got onto the tarmac or when he got naked.
Social media users joked about the weather in Chicago at the moment.
One wrote: “It was nice out today but not that nice.”
Another remarked: “It’s not even shorts weather.”
Some were confused how he managed to get so far without being stopped, which ORD airport explained on Twitter: “It sounds like several pilots notified ground control & several ground handling staff tried to stop him.”
