EMMERDALE actress Charley Webb and husband Matthew Wolfenden are expecting their third baby together.
But when is she leaving and how will her character Debbie Dingle be written out? Here’s what we know…
When is pregnant Charley Webb leaving Emmerdale?
Charley, 31, will be heading off on maternity leave some time this year when she gives birth to her third baby.
It’s not known when she is due to give birth, but she and husband Matthew announced their soon-to-be new arrival at the beginning of February.
If we assume Charley was three months pregnant at this stage (when expectant mums traditionally reveal their happy news) then the baby will be due around early August.
If Charley starts her maternity leave around early July, Debbie will be on screen until September.
Nothing has been confirmed though, this is just us doing some guess work.
What will Debbie Dingle’s exit storyline be?
Charley has been temporarily written out twice before when she took maternity leave with her sons Buster and Bowie.
When Buster was born Debbie headed off to Jersey for a job after getting fed up with parents Cain and Charity not being able to get along.
And when Bowie was born Debs left the village after finding out her then-boyfriend Ross Barton had shot Robert Sugden.
More on Emmerdale
Nothing is yet known about how Debbie will be written out this time but speculation is rife that it will involve Joe Tate who was recently revealed as being alive and living in Monte Carlo.
Ned Porteous who plays the not-dead-after-all character isn’t returning to the soap full-time, so maybe Debbie heads to Monte Carlo with her kids to be with him.
That’s a bit of a change from the Dales!
