PAUL GASCOIGNE showed he is serious about being in peak condition for the Spurs legends game at their new £850million stadium.
The England and White Hart Lane legend is bidding to get into tip top condition for the match on Saturday.
Gazza, 51, videoed himself getting into his stride on a quiet country lane in a hoodie, for a Rocky Balboa-style leg-stretcher.
As he stops his run, he slows down and says to the camera: “I’m ready for the match! Get it on!”
He captioned the tweet: “Nice morning run, just gym & 9 a side tonight ready for the big game Saturday xxxx LOVE GAZZA xxxx.”
The former Newcastle, Spurs, Rangers and Lazio star is bidding to roll back the years as he takes to the pitch on Saturday.
Tottenham played their first Under-18s match at the new ground over the weekend and fans were wowed by the facilities on offer.
Jurgen Klinsmann is also due to play in the match, for both teams, along with Chris Perry, Neil Sullivan and Pascal Chimbonda.
Get it on
After the match, the North London club are set to play their maiden Premier League game in the ground against Crystal Palace on April 3.
SunSport visited the new ground over the weekend for the Under-18s match against Southampton, which they won 3-1.
J’Neil Bennett grabbed the opening goal of the game and the first in the new ground, and it was a spectacular curler inside the far post that wowed Spurs fans almost as much as the stadium itself.
But after his problems with alcohol in recent years, it is great to see Italia ’90 and Euro 96 legend Gascoigne in good shape and ready to put on his best show.
