JOHN CENA has broken his silence after being called out by Kenny Omega.
Omega has just recently signed up to Shahid Khan’s brand new All Elite Wrestling promotion alongside the likes of Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes.

But the 35-year-old revealed he would love to step into the ring with WWE legend Cena when discussing who his ideal opponent would be.
‘THE BEST’
Speaking at a promotional event for AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view, The Cleaner said: “If we’re talking about fantasy opponents and all that, I don’t know, I really want to wrestle guys like John Cena or Seth Rollins.
“These guys that have got a little bit of chip on their shoulder.
“And I don’t mean that I want to show that I’m better or anything, I just want to work with these alpha-male-type dudes, you know?
“I want to work with guys that really think that they’re the best.
“Guys that have shown that they maybe are in the conversation for being the best. I think that makes magic.”
CENA’S RESPONSE
Fans instantly took to social media discussing the potential showdown, and the comments appear to have been noticed by the Leader of the Cenation himself.
But in the 16-time world champion’s typical fashion, his response was more cryptic than direct.
Instead of words, Cena decided to post an old photo of a young Omega back when he was part of WWE’s former developmental territory Deep South Wrestling.
And it was met with a number of snide remarks from his followers.
LATEST WWE NEWS
Omega joined WWE in 2005 but was only part of the company for a year before his departure.
He has gone on to become a superstar in his own right working for New Japan Pro Wrestling prior to his switch to AEW.
WWE have been linked with a move for Omega several times in recent years but it looks like fans will have to go on waiting to see him face-to-face with Cena.
