Grand National Festival 2019: Itchy Feet heads eight declarations for Betway Top Novice Hurdle

Among those in opposition is Aramon, who finished behind him at Cheltenham but is set to find the sharper track and better ground much more to his liking.

Willie Mullins’ novice was only just denied in Grade 1 company on his penultimate start and gets the services of Ruby Walsh.

Felix Desjy is another of the Supreme also-rans lining up in the race for Gordon Elliott, while Precious Cargo brings some interesting form from novice company for trainer Nicky Henderson.

Southfield Stone got the better of the highly-regarded Angel’s Breath at Kempton last time and takes to the stage for Paul Nicholls, while Dan Skelton’s Sofia’s Rock blitzed her opposition at Ludlow last time out and steps up in grade.

Rouge Vif and Winston C complete the field.
