Serial killer Samuel Little sketches 10 more victim portraits as FBI begs for help to identify women he killed in 35-year murder spree
A CHILLING gallery of death shows some of the women murdered by America’s most prolific serial killer – drawn by the monster himself.
The FBI released ten more sketches by Samuel Little in the hope they will help identify women who fell into his clutches during his 35-year killing spree.
Little, now 78, is in jail for three murders but last year confessed to killing as many as 90 across the US from 1970 to 2005.
The FBI rate his claims as “credible” and have so far linked his detailed descriptions of the killings to 34 known victims.
But the rest are uncorroborated or the victims’ identities are unknown.
This week the FBI released ten more of Little’s chalk, pencil and watercolour sketches, adding to the 16 revealed in February.
It is hoped the women’s relatives might recognise them and help fill in the missing pieces of the mammoth investigation.
Little, a former boxer, drew the haunting pictures from memory in jail in California, with the encouragement of detectives.
Notably, most have similar red lips and oval eyes, suggesting the monster had a favourite type he liked to sexually assault and murder.
It is thought many victims were sex workers or drug addicts on the margins of society.
It meant in many cases their deaths were not properly investigated, the FBI has said.
Known victims were found strangled and nude below the waist.
Authorities are looking for possible links to other deaths in at least 15 states, from California in the west to Maryland and Florida in the east.

In 2014 he was jailed for life after being convicted of killing three women in the Los Angeles area in the late 1980s.
His trial heard authorities already suspected him of at least 40 murders since 1980.
He maintained his innocence, but last year he wanted a prison transfer and agreed to work with federal agents.
