KATIE Price’s mansion is still in ruins as mouldy mattresses and rubbish are strewn around the garden – despite her claiming she’d tidied up.

The 40-year-old’s £2 million mansion came under scrutiny last year as images showed she had allowed it to fall into a state of disrepair – and new pictures show the property and grounds look worse than ever.

The messy nine-bedroom property in West Sussex has been left to rot as the mum-of-five has battled with bankruptcy, rehab and more heartache.

Katie’s house was first revealed on Through The Keyhole in 2017, with fans gobsmacked at the scum-encrusted pool and horse poo all over her front drive.

Over a year later and the pad is still surrounded by dried grounds with the pool now completely drained and mouldy, while the tennis court covered in rot.

Abandoned grotty mattress are strewn around the mansion as rubbish still litters both the front and back garden.

The kids’ play area looks like it has been deserted as a broken trampoline is strewed in one corner and a crushed goal post lies in the middle of the very dry grass.

Katie previously claimed she had cleaned up the house after Kieran Hayler moved out last year, but while inside might not be so cluttered the outside needs some work.

She boasted on her reality show: “The house is looking a lot better.

“I’ve de-cluttered a lot of it, and everyone who’s been in my house has said how much better it is.

“Since Kieran has gone this place is now starting to look how it should be looking.”

The star narrowly avoided bankruptcy in August, and was given three months to pay off her debts in court.

It was thought she was going to try and sell the house where she lives with her five children – Harvey, Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny, when they are not with their dads.

However experts at the time suggested it would be very hard for her to sell up because it was in such a bad state.

Earlier this week we revealed that Katie is advertising for a nanny and cleaner – and she’s willing to pay £1,000 a week to whoever takes on the job.

Given she has accused two former nannies of having affairs with estranged husband Kieran Hayler, she has demanded the pair are a couple.

The pair would get to live in an annex of her sprawling countryside home and work from 7am to 7pm every weekday.

Pricey has also insisted they be able to drive after the star was slapped with a three-month road ban for being drunk in charge of her lurid-pink Range Rover.
