She told him that she thought he’d like the idea, to which he fumed: “I decide where we live and what pace we go at. Is that understood?”
He added: “Thinking never was your strong point, Lola, was it?”
When Lexi tried speaking to him on the sofa, he lost it, booting her teddy bear.
She asked: “Daddy, do you want to look at Fluffy?”

He raged: “I’m not in the mood, Lola. Can you take her to Billy’s or something? ”
The new Ben is still something of mystery following his return to the square this week, and viewers were taken aback by loss of control.
One wrote on Twitter: “So we’re going for a dark Ben huh? #EastEnders.”
Another posted: “Ben showing he’s got the Mitchell anger in him #EastEnders.”
A third questioned: “What’s Ben playing at ? #Eastenders @bbceastenders.”
Another was less than impressed, sharing: “Oh this new Ben is awful #EastEnders.”
As did this disgruntled viewer: “Wow, from cuddly cute kid to the abuser in a weird relationship. Ben Mitchell becomes his father’s father. #EastEnders.”
Yesterday Max said his character Ben is ‘playing a dangerous game’ to ‘get what’s rightfully his’ as he schemes against dad Phil.
The actor made his debut as the new Ben at the end of Monday’s episode and went on to reveal he is plotting to scam his father out of his business.
In a new video posted on the BBC soap’s official social media channels, Max gave fans a bit more of an insight into his version of Ben and his return to Albert Square.
“Ben’s playing a dangerous game I think, I think he’s not really worried about who he can let down along the way.
“It’s about finally taking what’s rightfully his, whatever that may be.
“If I could describe Ben’s character in three words…clinical, driven and financially motivated, I know that’s two.”
Max also spoke about taking over the role from fan favourite Harry Reid, who played Ben from 2014 until last year, when Ben legged it to the continent with a backpack full of money.
He said: “I think, coming into the most, probably famous family in EastEnders, is very exciting because I’m literally related to everyone.
“I’ve got a relationship and a history with nearly every character on the Square.
“It makes it daunting for sure, as there’s a lot of expectation, and the audience expectation is going to be very high but it’s very exciting.”

Max, who has previously appeared in Casualty and Waterloo Road, also revealed he didn’t know he was playing Ben when he was first told he was joining EastEnders.
He said: “When I found out I got the part I actually wasn’t told I was playing Ben.
“I was told that I was playing someone else because there was a lot of privacy stuff that was going on with it.
“But when I found out I was going into EastEnders, I was with a girl that I was seeing at the time having champagne breakfast.”
