Five of the biggest moments from episode four of The Bay
1) Abbi is in trouble over the drugs
Last week Sam destroyed the drugs Abbi had been given by Vince to give Wilko – he flushed them down the loo.
In this latest episode we see Sam give her some money to make up for the cost – but it’s not enough.
Vincent knows that she didn’t give Wilko the drugs and he orders her into the car.
He takes her for a drive and subtly threatens her.
Later we see Abbi go to Wilko’s where she hands over a packet (which has no drugs in it) and takes a wad of cash from him.
As she walks off, one of DS Lisa Armstrong’s police colleague’s sees her.
Later on we see Abbi on the bus.
She goes past Wilko being attended to my paramedics after being badly beaten up.
2) Sean admits to kidnapping Nick
DS Lisa goes to the dock and tells Sean that she knows that he was involved in Nick’s kidnapping – and he admits that he did snatch him.
Lisa then tells him she has to arrest him and he threatens to reveal they had sex on the night Dylan and Holly went missing.
She then tells him if he does that he risks his marriage ending – he looks put off my the idea.
3) Ryan is arrested
Krzysztof’s wife Hannah, who was having an affair with Sean, goes to the police and tells them that Ryan was the one who beat Nick to a pulp.
Ryan is immediately arrested.
The police search his house and find wads of cash in his house.
He won’t give away way he has so much cash, even when they say that Holly had the exact same money in her bag that they found at sea.
4) Nick is alive
Nick finally wakes up from his coma after being savagely beaten.
Like when Sean was interrogating him, he won’t reveal to DS Lisa what he knows about Holly, again saying he “can’t tell”.
He then starts humming a song which his mum reveals he learnt at a summer camp he used to go to at the old lido.
This makes DS Lisa think this is maybe where Holly is, and she rushes to the derelict site.
5) Holly is found
Upon searching the old Lido, DS Lisa makes a shocking discovery – Holly is alive.
After going underneath the pool she walks through a derelict door and finds a scared Holly cowering in the corner – but who has been keeping her there?
What you should look out for in episode five of The Bay
1) Who was hiding Holly?
Nick obviously knew that she was hiding at the lido but it looks like he was trying to protect her. Maybe Holly was scared and running away from someone, and hiding on purpose, NOT being held against her will. Maybe she was running from Ryan?
2) Rob is STILL being blackmailed
We still don’t know who this is, but they upped their game on episode four asking for cash otherwise they will show the footage of him stealing the booze. He looked like he was going to steal his mum’s rings to pay off the blackmailer.
3) Will Sean spill the beans on DS Lisa Armstrong?
They had sex the night that the twins went missing and Lisa deleted the CCTV footage. Sean has threatened to say something – will he go ahead with it?
4) Sam’s dad
We met him tonight towards the end of the episode and he is head of the local council. He clearly doesn’t like Abbi – but why?
