Fortunately it wasn’t anything personal as the Four Weddings and a Funeral star revealed she’s a method actor and her character isn’t a fan of his.
He told The Daily Mirror: “She’s probably a little bit more methody, you know?”
Admitting she refused to socialise with him once filming was done, he added: “I was up in Glasgow filming, staying in a hotel so I could go back to my room, have a glass of wine, watch the telly.
“Kelly would be going through the mill in the day then going home. I think she kept herself very much in a zone separated from me. That meant that there was a little bit of distance between us, a little bit of coldness.”

The Gosford Park actress recently told The Scotsman her role as Anna Dean is her “darkest ever”.
She said: “I wanted to play someone who was quite unlikeable. It didn’t weigh heavy on me.
“It was all on the page. It was easy to play the scenes as they were so well written.
The show follows Anna Dean, whose nine year old son was murdered fifteen years ago.
