COPS in Russia have launched a preliminary murder probe after the country’s top woman Thai boxing champ plunged to her death.
Kristina Myalina, 26, reportedly fell from the 13th floor of an apartment block in northern Moscow hitting a ledge covering the front door and receiving fatal wounds.

No suicide note was found and investigators are now actively checking whether she was the victim of a mystery murderer.
A police source said: “During the checks it was established that the sports woman fell from a shared balcony on the 13th floor of the building.
“She had no chance to survive.”
Police are studying CCTV cameras in the block of flats on Kronshtadsky Boulevard, reported news outlet Komsomolskaya Pravda.
Myalina – nicknamed ‘Fierce’ by her friends – switched to martial arts from handball and became Russian champion in 2013.
She was a member of Russian national team that competed at the European championship in Prague in 2018.

Speaking about her sport, she added: “I played handball for 7 years, but I always dreamed of doing martial arts.
“At one point, I just left everything and began to train. I understand that this is mine. I fell in love with this sport.”
