SHEFFIELD UNITED star Richard Stearman led the wild celebrations as Sheffield United’s hit the heights of the Premier League.
The Blades were promoted to the Premier League for the first time since 2006-07 after Leeds drew to Aston Villa in a bonkers game on Sunday.
The result at Elland Road sparked wild celebrations amongst both Sheffield United fans and supporters who were watching the game on TV.
Richard Stearman was seen in one video looking rather worse for wear as he chucked pints around the pub.
Meanwhile, the official Sheffield United Twitter account shared a snap of beer being thrown all over the place as the promotion party erupted in full flow.
“LIFE-CHANGING”
On Saturday evening, United edged towards back-to-back promotions – having clinched the League One title a year ago – after beating already-relegated Ipswich.
Scott Hogan and Jack O’Connell scored at Bramall Lane as they aimed to join Norwich back in the top-flight.
And on Sunday a simply bizarre few minutes saw Leeds controversially take the lead – sparking a mass brawl on the pitch – and then deliberately let Villa equalise.
The result saw Leeds’ automatic promotion hopes disappear – with Sheffield United confirmed as joining the Premier League for 2019-20.
Earlier this season, Basham revealed just how big of a deal promotion would be for the club, calling it “life-changing”.

Basham said: “It would be life-changing for a lot of footballers in our dressing room.
“With the budget we’ve got and the money we’ve spent, to be in the position we’re in is pretty remarkable really.
“But there’s a lot of lads in there who are destined to go all the way to the top. Hopefully it’s with us.
“We just feel unbreakable at the moment if I’m being honest.”
