In fact, there are some tongues out there that aren’t just able to touch their owners’ noses, they also come a good inch below their chins too.

The longest tongue in the world – according to the Guinness World Records – measures 10.1cm and belongs to yank Nick Stoeberl.

His licker is so long that he actually paints pictures with it, who in 2015 managed to paint the world’s largest painting of a beaver using a tongue (a very niche record, granted).

These other tongues may not be quite as long as Nick’s but they sure do take some beating.

Nick told the Guinness World Record back in 2015 that the most useful thing about having a giant tongue was not needing to use a napkin.

If he got any food anywhere around his mouth, he’d just lick it off.

At the moment, there’s no entry for the world’s shortest tongue.
