A MAN CITY employee was rushed to hospital after a shocking attack that saw corrosive liquid squirted in her face.
The horrific incident, believed to be an anti-City attack, took place just two days after the club won the Premier League title.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, was sat in her car with the window down wearing a jersey showing the club’s crest.
A white Range Rover pulled up alongside her car which was stationed close to the Manchester Arena.
An occupant of the Range Rover shouted anti-City obscenities before squirting the harmful liquid in her face, according to Daily Mail.
INJURIES
She was rushed to hospital and received treatment for injuries to the eye and skin before being released.
Police are still trying to identify the substance and have appealed for witnesses. They are yet to make any arrests.
City have looked to reassure staff that the woman was not attacked because she was wearing club colours.

And police also reportedly believe the incident was not part of an aggressive agenda against City fans.
