It’s two days of music at the park during the day and in venues across the city at night. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
When is Parklife festival 2019?
The Manchester festival is on right now, and continues tomorrow.
Around 80,000 punters will descend on the site each day of the festival.
Thousands more flooded through the gates last night as the main stage hosted a separate homecoming show from Noel Gallagher.
It used to be held at Platt Fields Park but has since moved to Heaton Park.
Gates opened at 11am this morning and with open at 12 noon on the Sunday, closing at 11pm both days.
Festival-goers will need to arrive before last entry at 5pm each day – and there’s no re-admittance allowed if you leave the site.
What is the Parklife line up?
This year’s festival features nine stages, including the main Parklife Stage, last year’s new Valley stage, the Sounds of the Near Future tent, the sprawling Hangar, and the all-new Magic Sky arena.
George Ezra, The Streets, Blossoms, Solange, Nas, Mark Ronson and Christine and the Queens are heading the line up, plus loads more.
The full line up can be viewed here.
Where are the after parties?
The ‘Afterlife’ parties take place in five different venues across Manchester city centre.
Saturday’s line-up includes local house duo Solardo performing at Gorilla, while drum’n’bass crew Jungle Cakes take over Manchester Academy with sets from Ed Solo, Deekline and Randall

Can you still get tickets?
Parklife 2019 is now sold out.
Due to occasional fraudulent sales and failed payment plans some ticket types may become available on the box office.
What’s the weather forecast for the weekend?
It’s looking wet this weekend as rain has already started falling, muddying the ground on the first day of the festival.
However it’s looking drier and brighter for the evening acts, with sunny spells forecast from 7pm until sundown.
Sunday day ticket holders can expect to stay dry as the forecast currently stands, with scattered clouds and sunshine all day and temperatures of up to 17C.
