B&M is selling a shower speaker and digital radio – and it’s a bargain
B&M shoppers can now listen to their tunes in the shower thanks to the discount retailer’s handy waterproof speaker.
And it’s a real steal at £5.99, which is the cheapest price we’ve seen for a Bluetooth shower speaker from a reputable online retailer.
The very same model is currently being sold on the Intempo website, for example, for five times B&M’s price at £29.99, as well as on Amazon for three times the price at £14.99.
The “Intempo Bluetooth Shower Speaker” uses Bluetooth to connect to your Android or Apple device and play music – as long as it’s within 33 feet.
It comes in pink, blue, black, and white and has a suction cup on the back so you can easily stick it onto a tiled bathroom wall.
And best of all it’s showerproof so you can sing along to your favourite records while having a scrub.
But you could even use it in the garden for summer BBQs and parties or stick it in your car, which is what one shopper on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook Group says she does.
She wrote: “Shower speaker from B&M now means I can listen to digital radio stations and Bluetooth Spotify from my phone. Much cheaper than a system upgrade [for my car].
“My best mate’s idea but it’s genius”.
Another Facebook group user commented: “AMAZING! Was Googling how to play Spotify on my old built-in car stereo today. Definitely going to get one of these!”
To charge it you just need to plug it into a power supply using a USB cable, which comes with it. It also has a rechargeable lithium battery included.
