EastEnders’ Danny Walters has gone on a heartbreak holiday to Thailand after splitting from his girlfriend.

Yesterday, The Sun Online exclusively revealed that the 26-year-old hunk had broken up with his partner of five years, Lily Smith.

The actor, who plays Keanu Taylor in the BBC One soap, has now jetted off for some much needed sun, sea and sand – documenting his enviable trip on Instagram.

Posting to his social media page last night, Danny shared a topless snap of himself sitting on a swing on Patong Beach in Phuket.

Earlier today he shared more holiday photos from his run to the Big Buddha on the Thai island.

Proving that he is doing more than just relaxing on the trip, he captioned the post: “Morning run to The Big Buddha, Phuket. Worth every gruelling step.”

The star looked relaxed in a grey vest top, shorts, baseball cap, and trainers.

On his Instagram Story, Danny documented his meal at restaurant Alli’s BBQ, tempting fans with the delectable spread.

He also posted a snap of an incredibly grand golden Buddha glimmering in the sunshine.

An insider previously told us that Danny had ended his romance with stunning brunette Lily because he wanted to focus on his career, but the pair remain good friends.

The source explained: “Danny and Lily still have a lot of respect for each other, but want to spend time concentrating on their own goals.

“They’re both really young and have a lot of growing to do separately, so felt it was best to try being single.

“However they still remain close and have a lot of respect for each other.”

Danny and Lily used to enjoy swanky holidays and fun day trips together, documenting their adventures on their respective social media pages.

In recent months, Danny has shared copious sun-soaked snaps from exotic locations, such as Marbella, Malta, and Gibraltar, as well as relaxing days out at luxury spas.

The actor got his big break after appearing as Tiger Dyke in ITV show Benidorm, shooting to fame in 2017 when he was cast in EastEnders.

His onscreen character has been embroiled in a series of high-profile storylines over the years, with Keanu facing a difficult few weeks after getting both Louise Mitchell and her stepmother, Sharon, pregnant.

The mechanic enjoyed a scandalous affair with Sharon behind her husband Phil Mitchell’s back, and fans previously feared that Keanu could end up being killed off if the Walford hard man learns the truth.
