A BRIT tourist was held for 24 hours at US customs, deported and banned for ten years for admitting she once took cocaine.
Isabella Brazier-Jones, 28, had flown to Los Angeles for a two-month trip of a lifetime with pal Olivia Cura, 26.
MP Michael Gove shockingly admitted taking cocaineBut she said she “did a Gove” — like wannabe PM Michael who admitted cocaine use — and owned up to immigration officials that she snorted a line in 2017.
Officers at passport control had suspected the pair were planning to overstay in the US and had taken them off to interview them about their plans and finances.
Olivia, of Wimbledon, South West London, was told she was free to enter the US after an hour.
But Isabella claims her phone, suitcase and passport were confiscated and she was body searched.
She said: “I was held in a cell with four other women. The TV played constant R&B music videos. It was torture.”
Isabella added: “They said to me: ‘There is a message referring to cocaine on your phone. Have you taken cocaine?’ And I said yes.”
‘TERRIFIED’
She was escorted on to a plane back to the UK where pal Olivia, who she met at prestigious acting school RADA, joined her.
The pals had spent £3,500 on flights, accommodation and car rental.
Aspiring actress Isabella, from Shepherd’s Bush, West London, said: “We both quit our jobs — I was a private chef and Olivia had been a youth worker. I did up my flat and rented it out.”
Isabella claimed: “They took against me because I was a posh, white, blonde girl. I was terrified.
“Officials follow President Donald Trump’s directions on immigration.
“This treatment is applied to Mexicans and Muslims, but I think the system has gotten incredibly carried away.”
US Customs and Border Protection did not comment.
