A HORRIFIED couple have claimed they found poo skid marks and pubic hair in their £143 Premier Inn double room.
Charlea Venters and partner Bradley Belding booked their overnight stay at the hotel in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester to go to the British Soap Awards earlier this month.
The Eastenders superfan Charlea got the tickets as a birthday treat to attend the star-studded event on June 1.
When they pair checked-in to their double room they claim the toilet bowl had poo streaks and pubic hair.
The 20-year-old salon owner said this was only the beginning of their stomach-churning experience.
Charlea, from Holbeach, Lincs. also claims there was dried semen on the sofa bed and they later discovered what they said was poo stains on the bed sheets.
She took a video of Bradley, 24, phoning reception to complain about the toilet and it ends with Charlea in a giggling fit as he then picks up what he said is a piece of cooked bacon from the floor.
After finding what they believe were poo stains, the couple went to reception to demand a refund.
It was absolutely horrendous. I felt like I wanted to go home, put all my clothes in the wash, have a bath and scrub myself – it was horrible

However, they were told it couldn’t be processed that evening.
They claim the receptionist said they could either stay and apply for a refund in person in the morning or leave and request it through the website.
Charlea and Bradley opted to stay in their ensuite room because they faced a three-hour trek home.
Both said they slept terribly due to the condition of the room.
A Premier Inn spokesperson said their stay was “certainly not in line with our usual high standards” and issued a full refund on June 10.
Charlea, from Holbeach, Lincolnshire, said: “It was absolutely horrendous. I felt like I wanted to go home, put all my clothes in the wash, have a bath and scrub myself – it was horrible.
“I picked Premier Inn because I thought it would be convenient.
“I wasn’t expecting a big place with a spa but I was expecting very basic but clean [facilities], which I don’t think is too much to ask.”
‘I WANTED TO BE SICK’
She said the trip started off badly as the car park was looked like “a landfill site”.
Then she made the grim discovery on the toilet and after complaining they received a knock on their door where the receptionist, carrying a bucket and cleaning products, who announced he would be cleaning the toilet.
Charlea said: “I got my toiletries and took them into the bathroom and that’s when I saw pubic hair and skid marks in the toilet.
“I didn’t put my make-up bag down, showed Bradley and then he got on the phone to reception.
“The receptionist said ‘no problem we will come and clean it’. When he said that I didn’t think he meant he would do it – where was the cleaner?
“In the video I started laughing, it wasn’t the fact I found it funny I just couldn’t quite believe what was happening.”
As the couple were getting ready for their event, Charlea was stunned when she found what she believed was semen on the sofa bed.
‘I’LL NEVER STAY THEM AGAIN’
The breaking point was discovering what Charlea says are poo marks on the sheets before getting into bed.
Charlea said: “As soon as we pulled back the quilt and saw that it was just the cherry on the top – thankfully we hadn’t got into bed.
“I’d already found a white stain on the sofa bed. It didn’t look very good, I think it was dried semen.
“By this point I didn’t know whether I wanted to be sick or go home first.”
The couple got dressed and headed to reception to ask for a refund, but would have to wait until the next morning to get the refund in person.
However, by then she was told refunds could only be processed online.
Charlea said: “It totally ruined the weekend. We didn’t sleep properly as we were constantly thinking ‘god this is disgusting’.
“I will never stay with Premier Inn again.”
A spokesperson for Premier Inn said: “We were sorry to hear about Ms. Venters’ experience which is certainly not in line with our usual high standards.
“The complaint was received on 3rd June and, after a full investigation by our senior team, a full refund was given on the 10th June.
“None of our hotels is able to process refunds on site which is why our team member requested that Ms. Venters contact our head office.
“Ms. Venters did accept the offer of a complimentary breakfast at the time of making her complaint.
