Coronation Street spoilers: Sean Tully violently assaulted after falsely claiming Paul Foreman is a burglar
SEAN Tully is set to face a tough time in Coronation Street next week when he’s violently assaulted after falsely fingering Paul Foreman as a burglar.
Sean – played by Antony Cotton – is readying himself for a date on Monday when Paul sends a cheeky text from Sean’s phone to the guy he’s meeting up with.

When Sean reads the text he’s left hurt, while vicar Billy Mayhew is unimpressed with Paul’s behaviour.
Later, an upset Sean returns to tell Billy and Paul that by the time he arrived, his date was kissing someone else.
He makes it clear that he holds Paul fully responsible for the dating disaster before flouncing off.
Then, when Summer suggests that they all go to the Weatherfield Light Festival together, Billy and Sean are keen.

But it’s Paul’s turn to be less than impressed at always having Sean around as a third wheel.
On Friday Sean spots Paul with a dodgy-looking mate in Victoria Gardens. When Paul then presents Billy – Daniel Brocklebank – with some expensive looking headphones, Sean voices his concerns.
When it’s revealed that the medical centre’s charity collection box has gone missing, Sean tells Moira that he thinks Paul could be behind the theft.
Sean’s accusations lead to a police officer arriving and questioning Paul about the theft. He’s horrified as he’s quizzed about taking the charity box from the medical centre.
Paul then discovers that Moira Pollock reported him on Sean’s say so and loses his temper.
Billy is caught between a rock and a hard place as he has to hold Paul back from attacking Sean.
