A WOMAN who battled psoriasis for years has hailed a £22 cream from Boots as a ‘miracle cure’ for her skin.
Shannon Lauren, 22, praised Liz Earle’s Skin Replenishing Body Balm for clearing her skin of its red, raw patches.
Shannon, from Glasgow, revealed she had battled psoriasis for three years, with no creams or medication making a difference.
She stumbled across the Liz Earle cream by chance, and is so impressed with it she’s shared the tip with others on Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group UK.
Shannon wrote: “For about 3 years I’ve battled with very bad eczema/psoriasis.
“I’ve tried every cream there is to recommend and literally NOTHING would work.”
She only ended up trying Liz Earle after her mum bought it for her, previously trying Lush and Child’s Farm with no results.
Shannon wrote: “Just about 4 weeks ago my mum told me there was a new moisturiser out by Liz Earle and after smelling it I thought I’d give it a go.
“It’s currently £22 in boots and I have to say it was more than worth every penny.
“Hope it helps someone else that’s been in the same position as me.”

Shannon shared a photo of her arm after using it four weeks, and the transformation is amazing.
She added: “This is after using it for 4 weeks the difference in my skin all over is incredible.
“Just hope that it might one day help someone else.”
The cream contains eight plant butters, seed oil and extracts, and the website advises: “Massage thoroughly onto warm skin, paying particular attention to any areas prone to dryness such as elbows and knees.”
She added: “It’s a miracle cream for me.
“Turns out it literally gave me my confidence back, and made me feel normal again,” she told the Daily Mail.
Her post has been liked more than 1,000 times, as people thanked her for sharing her ‘cure’.
Thanking Lauren for her tip, one person said: “I have psoriasis on my scalp and it use to come right down to above my eyebrows.
“About 14 years ago I switched to Liz Earle and it cleared up within a week. This brand is amazing.”
Another person wrote: “My daughter’s currently awaiting as an emergency patient to see a dermatology doctor, I’ve tried everything on the market for weeks on end. . . I might give this ago thanks.”
And a third commented: “Omg this is really good I’m gonna have a read up on it.”
