CORONATION Street has been extended to an hour long episode this evening as a huge row kicks off the Rovers over the theft of the charity box.
The ITV soap usually airs during two half an hour slots on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays but viewers will get both parts in one tonight.
Fans are in for an emotional and dramatic hour as not only will fragile Carla Connor pay a visit to her grieving half-sister, Kate – but Sean Tully nearly gets beaten up.
It all starts when Sean – played by Antony Cotton – spots Paul with a dodgy-looking mate in Victoria Gardens.
When Paul then presents Billy – Daniel Brocklebank – with some expensive looking headphones, Sean voices his concerns.
When it’s revealed that the medical centre’s charity collection box has gone missing, Sean tells Moira that he thinks Paul could be behind the theft.

Elsewhere former factory owner Carla – who has recently returned to the cobbles after a stay in a psychiatric unit – tentatively approaches Kate and tells her how sorry she is about the tragedy that killed her fiancée, Rana Habeeb.
Kate – played by Faye Brookes in the ITV soap – listens as Carla tells her how much she wishes she’d heeded Gary Windass’ warning about the roof, before dissolving into tears.
