Today’s free horse racing tips: Steve Mullen’s top tips for Wednesday’s racing at Catterick, Lingfield, Yarmouth, Kempton and Bath

CATCH MY BREATH has run a couple of decent races here, particularly two starts ago on fast ground like today’s. He finished well to finish third and in-form Cieren Fallon is full value for his 5lb claim.

Immoral was denied in a ding-dong battle at Chepstow last time and should be right there again. Magical Ride has an obvious chance gunning for a hat-trick of wins at this venue. He has every chance under a penalty over his best distance.

FLEETING PRINCESS should find this a little easier than the Albany Stakes she was midfield in last time out. She wasn’t disgraced the time before either when running in Listed class at York. She started with a game win here and can strike again in a suitable grade.

Bubbly Splash caught the eye on debut when finishing third at Hamilton last month. He gave the impression that he would come on for the experience. Better The Devil is another who struggled at Royal Ascot after winning at Hamilton on debut. He could go close too.

LAND OF OZ comes from staying handicap king Sir Mark Prescott who has launched his team in earnest this week. He showed lots of promise on his handicap debut over this distance at Redcar in May when blocked at a crucial stage. There should be a lot more to come from this lowly mark.

Message has been knocking on the door and was beaten in a tight finish at Leicester last time out. He goes off the same mark and should be competitive. Soloist shapes as though this step up in distance will bring out the best in her.

POETIC ERA is going up in distance for this handicap debut after showing some promise at maiden level. She wasn’t asked too many questions when third at Wetherby last time and there should be more to come.

Eve Harrington is another tackling a trip after showing lots at 7f on the all-weather. She was only just getting going at the end when second at Newcastle last time and has plenty more to offer.

RAUCOUS has been in cracking form and was an excellent fourth in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot last time out. He seemed to enjoy dropping to this distance there and a repeat of that would see him go very close.

Muscika was a close second at Thirsk latest and is proven in this sort of grade. This trip suits well and he’s handicapped for another good run. Show Stealer can ruin her chance with a slow start but she has plenty of talent and will be strong at the finish.

GOING PLACES caught the eye when fourth on his debut in a fair contest at Newmarket last time out. He lost a shoe during the race which can’t have helped and there should be a lot more to come.

Model Guest was beaten just over two lengths at Royal Ascot in a much better race than this so has an obvious chance. New Jazz is going the right way but may need a bit further to show her true form.#

SONNET ROSE went close here last time despite her rider dropping the rein at a crucial stage in the finish. That may have made the difference in a tight battle and she comes here from 2lb lower in the weights with a massive chance.

Lincoln Red had a hard time from a bad draw at Doncaster last time after winning well twice here earlier. He looked handicapped for another good run. Seraphim has been in good form on the all-weather and could easily run into the frame.
