Eagle-eyed fans found the scene, which aired during Thursday evening’s show, hilarious.
Taking to Twitter, one mused: “Greg putting his hand on Chris in bed has made this series for me! #loveisland.”
Another posted no less than five crying emojis, saying: “Greg rly stroked chris’ arm in bed [sic].”

Sharing a meme of comedian James Corden hysterically laughing, a third wrote: “Chris and Greg sharing a bed.”
Using both a love-heart and crying emoji, a fourth added: “Greg and Chris sharing a bed!”
Newbie Greg is currently single in the villa after arriving earlier this week.
Chris, meanwhile, has a spare spot in his double after Maura – who he is technically coupled up with – decided to start sleeping outside with Curtis.

Tonight, however, it could be all change in Love Island after the islanders were sprung with a shock recoupling.
But a twist to the format means that no-one will actually get dumped from the villa.
A teaser for tonight’s episode showed Michael Griffiths and Greg left standing at the end, with many viewers assuming Amber Gill will be the last to pick and one of the boys would be sent packing.

However, because there are eight girls and eight boys, the equal numbers mean everyone will end up in a couple – and no one will be going home tonight.
Amber has the biggest decision to make. She after enjoyed a date with new boy Greg, 24, only for former flame Michael, 27, to reveal he still has feelings for her.
The 21-year-old beautician was left stunned by the revelation, considering Michael ditched her for Joanna Chimonides during the Casa Amor twist – before repeatedly insisting he no longer had any feelings for her.
