The macabre stunt emerged after a worker found a shard of glass in a half-eaten muffin left by a customer on Wednesday.
CLAIMS OF METAL PINS USED AT THE ATTRACTION BEING FOUND IN MUFFINS
Managers launched an immediate investigation which, it is understood, revealed silver metal pins used at the attraction inside 13 muffins for sale.
Bemused staff unaware of the discovery were ordered to scoop up all food for inspection.

The Chocolate Frog Cafe, the Hub Cafe, the Food Hall and the Backlot Cafe were all closed for the day at the attraction in Leavesden, Herts.
Bosses managed to keep the scare from visitors amid concerns there could have been a mass exodus from the site.
It comes a few weeks after glass was found in a burger and has led to fears that a member of staff may be responsible for the incidents.
A source said: “It’s chilling and dark to think anyone could be so cold and calculating.

KIDS COULD BE TARGETED
“We get thousands of kids here every day. Someone could have choked and died.
“Stopping the sale of any food for the rest of the day was definitely the right thing to do.
“A thorough examination was called for and no-one was taking a chance over safety.”
The source added: “The few staff aware of what happened were asked to keep it quiet.
“Bosses were frightened about the consequences of this getting out. It’s a terrible scare.
“They think the incident a few weeks ago was linked to Wednesday’s attack and they are determined to get to the bottom of what has happened.”

Food was back on sale yesterday after executives were satisfied it was safe.
Warner Bros Studio Tour London — The Making of Harry Potter has been a massive hit since it opened in 2012.
A spokesman said: “We are taking the matter extremely seriously. The safety of our visitors is our primary concern.
“Additional safeguarding measures have been put in place.”

A police spokesman added: “We are investigating an incident where foreign objects were reportedly found in a small amount of food.
“The food in question was intercepted before it was made available for consumption.
“Enquiries are continuing and officers are working closely with the studios.”
