Emmerdale spoilers: Bernice plans to propose to Liam at Wild West fundraiser – as doctor returns to the village

EMMERDALE’S Bernice Blackstock plans to propose to Dr Liam Cavanagh as he returns to town.

It’s her Wild West Fundraiser but Bernice’s mind is somewhere else when Liam gallops in on his horse.

Bernice has got love on her mind in Emmerdale next week as she plans to as boyfriend Liam Cavanagh to marry her.

Bernice – who’s played by Samantha Giles in the ITV soap – is feeling down in the dumps as the week kicks off.

When Liam tells her he’s got no plans to attend her Wild West Fundraiser, she’s left feeling even worse.

She springs into action as she plans what to do next to show her affection.

Beautician and salon owner Bernice has been planning a Wild West themed murder mystery to raise money for the local hospital.

Eventually she manages to convince him to come along but telling him she’s given him the role of the sheriff.

Liam – Jonny McPherson –  thrives on his new role and, donned in a Stetson, rides through a classic western version of Main Street.

But Bernice’s sister and local councillor Nicola King is less than pleased that she wasn’t given the role of Sheriff.

Soon an anxious Bernice confesses to Nicola that she’s planning on asking Liam to marry her.

As the fundraiser gets under way, the villagers all admire each other’s Western outifts and Bernice swoons when Sheriff Liam rides into town.

Meanwhile Rishi Sharma offers to store the charity fundraising takings in the factory safe.

Later, Sheriff Liam announces that there will be a surprise as the end of the day, but even he doesn’t know what it is.

But will Bernice’s proposal go to plan?
