Following Spurs’ dramatic 3-2 win over Juventus on Sunday, the players did a lap of honour to show their appreciation to those that had come out to watch.
After being treated to an excellent display and Harry Kane’s wondergoal from the halfway line, the fans were understandably in a great mood.
But one took their enthusiasm a little too far, jumping the advertising hoardings and trying to run on to the pitch to meet his heroes.
The Spurs coach channelled his inner bouncer and showed quick feet to block the plucky fan’s path, fending him off to the entertainment of the players.
And then a few moments later, Son, 27, decided he would have some fun by sneaking up on his own team-mates.
With a towel over his head, the forward crept around to the side of the pitch before running towards the group, catching the coach off guard.
The member of the backroom staff was suddenly ready to stop the ‘invader’ – only to realise it was one of their own.
Son’s antics earned him a clip across the ear from the coach as the rest of the players broke into hysterics.
Dele Alli – who was next to the coach – loved it and ran across to enjoy the banter with his close pal.
Unsurprisingly, Tottenham fans on Twitter were loving it.
