Pubgoers who stop by for refreshing drink today will be met with a sign that reads: “Have yourself a merry little Christmas.”
Manager Joanne Johnson said the tree is great for business because it boosts early Christmas bookings.
Joanne said: “It’s a talking point.
“This is the third year in a row we’ve had the tree up and we never get any negative comments about it.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY
“Regulars have been excited asking us when the tree is going up because last year we had it up a little earlier.
“We’ve already had a few bookings for Christmas parties and Christmas lunch as a result – it’s where the idea comes from.
“We like people to know we take bookings for Christmas as we do fill up really quick.”
In a post on their Facebook page, the Air Balloon wrote: “21 days late but the tree is up.
“We are taking bookings for Christmas and we fill up really quick so the tree is a reminder it soon comes round.”
BAKING BRITAIN
Up and down the country, people are preparing for Christmas even though it is still 155 days away.
Plymouth shop, Chaplins Discount, launched its huge Christmas display on Friday.
While a Mum, from Sunderland, Tyne and Wear has already finished all her Christmas shopping (and wrapping).
Last month Argos released its predictions for the must-have toys this Christmas.
The list includes a Peppa Pig playset, a twerking llama as well as toys from Paw Patrol, Lego and LOL surprise.
Although it may seem a bit soon to be thinking about the festive season, according to research by Argos, a quarter of all Brits have started their Christmas shopping.
