Greg and Amber tipped to get engaged this year after whirlwind romance scoops them £50k Love Island prize money
THEY may have won Love Island less than 24 hours ago, but Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea are already being tipped to get engaged this year.
Last night the Geordie stunner took home a share of £50k with the handsome Irish man despite only being together for 12 days – beating off the favourites Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury.

And now it looks like there could be wedding bells if the bookies’ have got it right.
There are currently odds of 6/4 that Greg will pop the question to his Newcastle beauty sometime in the next five months.
Betway’s Alan Alger said: “In one of the most surprising outcomes of the show’s history, Greg and Amber were crowned the Love Island winners, beating long-term favourites Tommy and Molly-Mae.
“Despite being a couple for just two weeks, the Irish rugby-player and Geordie lass scooped the £50k prize and we’re not ruling out the possibility of the pair ending 2019 on an even bigger high.

“The couple are 6/4 to get engaged in 2019, while another Love Island wedding in 2020 is priced at 7/2.”
Original Islander Amber, 21, became a fan favourite after being cruelly dumped by love rat Michael Griffiths before being touched by the luck of the Irish when 24-year-old Greg arrived.
It helped that viewers were turned off by social media influencer Molly-Mae over her “fake” tears and soppy relationship with boxer Tommy.
Fans launched a campaign to stop the pair from winning the show – despite being the only official couple left in the villa.

It certainly paid off for beautician Amber and rugby player Greg who will now become millionaires by Christmas, with Amber likely to bag a £250,000 clothing line deal this week.
Following their win Amber said she could “not believe it”, while Greg added: “This is crazy.”
As well as the title, the winning couple were given a cheque for £50,000.
Their romance was put to the test when Caroline Flack told them they had to choose envelopes, one containing the money and one empty, and the person with the money had to decide whether to share it.
Greg picked the envelope with the £50,000 and chose to share it with Amber.
The lovebirds beat two other couples in the grand final on Monday night.
Ovie Soko and India Reynolds came third, and Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins came fourth.
During the final episode, the contestants made declarations of love to each other as they attended a romantic summer ball.
More from Love Island
Greg penned a poem for Amber, in which he said he loved that she was “unique”.
Amber, who had a tough time earlier in the series when she was ditched by Michael Griffiths, replied that Greg had changed her experience at the 11th hour.
“You picked me up when I was at my most vulnerable and helped me to rediscover my smile,” she said.
