There was tentative interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
However nothing concrete came in from either.
Now, barring a shock late swoop, Rose looks likely to remain in Mauricio Pochettino‘s squad beyond tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
Discussing the star’s future last week, Poch said: “I told you in Singapore and China.
“I think I was very clear about the situation of the squad.
“Danny Rose like another 25 or 26 players are here and are my players.
“I don’t know what I need to say because I was very clear in the past.”
Meanwhile, former Spurs forward Darren Bent questioned why his old club were so keen to offload the defender, who has lost his place to Ben Davies.
