His vehicle was left in the car park for four or five days before it could be removed.
Sarah says that since then she has been “hounded” for payment for six months — even though she informed her borough council of the tragedy.
Sarah, from Woore, Staffs, is still getting letters for Lee.
‘I LOST THE LOVE OF MY LIFE’
She said: “I expected them to quash the fine. It was initially £35 and went up to £75. Now they’re threatening to take me to court. It’s disgusting and upsetting.”
She said if it comes to it she will stand in a court on Lee’s behalf and “put them to shame”.
Lee died moments after parking in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs, in February.
Sarah, 37, who was with him for eight years, said: “I lost the love of my life.
