Meghan & Harry stayed in £108k-a-week villa during Ibiza celebration break
MEGHAN Markle celebrated her 38th birthday in style as she and Harry soaked up the sun in a luxury £108,000 a week villa in Ibiza.
It wasn’t just a special trip for the Duchess of Sussex, the six-day stay at Sa Calma villa on the exclusive Vista Alegre estate was baby Archie’s first holiday abroad.
The stunning seven-bedroom property boasts a 50-metre infinity pool, live-in caretakers, waitress, gym, Range Rover with a driver and a night security guard.
The royal couple, who flew to the island by private jet, also bought their own chef along for the occasion.
Luckily for yoga-loving Meg, instructors and personal trainers are all available on request at the Sa Calma villa.
Looking out on the picturesque village of Es Cubells, the house also offers Yacht charters, beauticians, nannies and masseurs to wait on the couple hand-and-foot.
The pair received back-lash for travelling by private jet, with critics branding Harry a hypocrite after he gave a speech about the dangers of climate change.
It was estimated that it would take 1,400 trees ten years to offset the Duke and Duchess’s private flights over two years.
Their trip to Nice created seven times more carbon emissions per person than using a commercial flight.
The couple arrived on the French Riviers aboard a 12-seater Cessna aircraft that would cost more than £20,000 to hire.
Labour MP Teresa Pearce called on Harry and Meghan to “lead by example” on environmental issues.
Ms Pearce said: “Given the position they have taken publicly about being responsible on climate change, this does seem an anomaly which they should look at.
“It’s up to all of us to cut our carbon emissions, and the number of flights we take a year.

“That is really important — and someone as high profile as that should lead by example.
Previous guests at the villa include Sir Paul McCartney and David Guetta and one local said that the Vista Alegre resort is”packed with the rich and famous”.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment.
